Letter from the Editor

It's vulnerable to pour your heart into a vision and hope that others care about it as deeply as you do, but this organization has exceeded every expectation.

Issue 09 was created to bring movement back into our everyday lives in a world that can feel increasingly digitized and stagnant.

Life is often too convenient; we stay still and comfortable and then wonder why we feel unmotivated, tired, or depressed. By blending fashion with dynamic athleticism through powerful photography and design, this issue centers on the idea of movement and the benefits it brings. There’s an emphasis on motion, whether athletic, funky, graceful, or conceptual.

Shifting to a more editorial style, I wanted to blur the lines between curated and fluid shoots, merging a poised, symmetrical feel with motion and spontaneity to express the theme. Experimenting with this posed a challenge, but it’s something we can continue to build upon in future issues.

With nearly 300 members, 22 executive board members, and 22 creative directors, we were able to create 80 beautiful pages in just a few months.

Finding the right way to run and organize things is hard when it involves this many contributors. The executive board and I are simply vessels working to produce a collective vision. It’s not an easy task—structuring a club full of diverse opinions while creating a space that supports each member is challenging, but incredibly rewarding.

Thank you all for trusting me as Editor-in-Chief and for pouring your effort, time, energy, and creative talent into this issue.

Xoxo,

Erin Seitzler
